We worked with The People’s Lobby to build a unifying brand to amplify the important work being done throughout Illinois and demonstrate the collective power of The People’s Lobby members.
The People’s Lobby is a membership-driven organization devoted to organizing widespread support for legislation and candidates that put the needs of people and the planet before the interests of big corporations and the very rich.
We collaborated with The People’s Lobby’s comms team to elevate their brand to demonstrate unity across their organization while also being approachable and exciting to younger audiences.

The logo refers to a physical intersection of signs both indicating a physical space and also an intersection of ideas. The People’s Lobby fights for various issues throughout Illinois from workers rights to criminal justice reform to electing progressive candidates. The brand is unifying while also being dynamic to hold space for all of the important issues that members organize around.

Throughout the brand we have incorporated tactile elements such as hand drawn lines, collages, and duotoned images that embody the on the ground nature of The People’s Lobby’s organizing. The colors are highly visible colors to make posters, t-shirts, and in person organizing stand out and draw attention.

The People’s Lobby’s website focuses on highlighting victories at all levels to celebrate wins and bring new members into the organization’s work. The website is built to house many campaigns and bases while also clearly providing pathways for new members to get involved.
